Empowering Youth for a Brighter Future

At Action Oriented Youth of Liberia, Inc. (AOYL), we offer a range of programs designed to empower Liberian youth through education, mentorship, and skill development. Our goal is to provide young people with the tools they need to succeed and become leaders in their communities.

Currently, we have seven impactful programs:

NextGen Liberia Leadership Camp

A transformative 4-week summer camp fostering leadership, public speaking, networking, and decision-making skills among young Liberians.

Empower Youths Speak Out Initiative

A program targeting youth to combat domestic violence through awareness campaigns, counseling services, and skill-building workshops.

Elton Solee-Teah Legacy Scholarships

Scholarships honoring Elton Solee, assisting rural Liberian youth pursuing healthcare degrees to improve healthcare access in rural areas.

4.

EmpowerHer: Boxing and Education Initiative

Encourages girls’ involvement in boxing and education, challenging gender stereotypes and fostering a supportive community for female athletes.

TechRise Liberia: Empowering Youth for a Digital Future

Empowers Liberian youth with essential technology skills, bridging the digital divide and addressing youth unemployment through comprehensive training.

Read to Succeed: Liberia's Literacy Leap

An after-school literacy program designed to elevate reading skills and close the literacy gap for middle and high school students in Liberia.

7.

Media and Film Empowerment Initiative (MFEI)

The Media and Film Empowerment Initiative (MFEI) is a groundbreaking program designed to equip young Liberians aged 12-24 with essential skills in media production, film, and journalism.
